Interview with Charlie Lenehan from Bars and Melody for ATIMAGAZINE.

Q1: If you had the opportunity to get a inspiring message across to a large amount of people, what would your message be? 

A1: To be yourself and never let anyone tell you you can’t achieve your dreams because we made it happen so anyone can.


Q2: How did you get started with your music? And if you weren’t an artist/musician what would you want to be doing?

A2: If I wasn’t being musician I would have been an engineer I was working very hard in school to pass my engineering degree as I had a strong passion for that but Music was something that always kept me going and deep down I wanted to achieve something in.

Q3: What or who keeps you motivated and inspires you?

A3: Our fans inspire me so much to stay motivated as they dedicate so much time to following us and supporting us I feel I have a duty to delivery the best of everything I can do for them

Q4: What is the most memorable experience of your life/career so far? And what have you learnt from it?

A4: Definitely the Ellen show it was an incredible experience and an opportunity not many people come across, people dream of the opportunity and we was given it.

Q5: Would you go back and change anything in your journey so far? (If no, why)

A5: I don’t live in regret, there is some things I wish I could have changed but I feel everything happens for a reason so fate will guide us to success

Q6: In the next two years what do you ASPIRE to have done?

A6: Inspired millions of others and delivered great music to people, and an arena tour wouldn’t be too bad either.

Q7: How much of your life and background have influenced you to become a songwriter/musician?

A7: A lot of it, I was always into performing arts and music so I surrounded myself with a lot of music and theatre which I think inspired me to chase my dream more.

Q8: What lyrics mean the most to you and why (ones you have written and or ones you didn’t write) 

A8: Definitely the song apologise, it was a song I wrote when I was going through a rough time personally and it allowed me to evaluate my own life from a different perspective after writing it down.

Q9: If you could collaborate with anyone who would to it be and why?

A9: Bruno mars. He is the reason I am doing music today. And it was his song I covered and allowed me to be known.

A9: To never give up on your dreams, I was told so many times and I never believed it and now I do.

Q10: What is most inspiring message you have internalised in life so far?

A10: To never give up on your dreams, I was told so many times and I never believed it and now I do.

Q11: What is your motto in life/what do you live by?

A11: Do not live in regret, learn from your mistakes in order for you to not make those same mistakes again.

Q12: What is currently on your playlist?

A12: A lot of Gucci mane 21 savage and migos

Q13: If you could have a song to be the soundtrack to your life what would it be and why?

A13: Journey, don’t stop believing just because it’s an absolute tune

Q14: What are your biggest dreams? and what are your biggest fears

A14: Biggest dream is to become a world renowned artist. And my biggest fear is to achieve that and dislike it as it’s a life you cannot just shake off

Q15: What is next for you/your plans for the next year?

A15: Work hard, create amazing music and hopefully make our fan base the strongest army alive.

Q16: What would your advice to be to those out there who want to live out there dreams? 

A16: Go for it! There is never any harm in trying
